Singapore-based centralized cryptocurrency exchange Bybit has been hacked, the company's CEO Ben Zou revealed
'The Bybit ETH multisig cold wallet sent money to our warm wallet about an hour ago.This particular transaction appeared to be masked and all signatories saw a masked UI with the correct address and URL from Safe.However, the signature message changed the smart contract logic of our ETH cold wallet," Ben Zhou, co-founder and CEO of Bybit, posted on X
He said only the exchange's Ethereum cold wallet was affected and withdrawals were "normal"
