"O.LAB" is a next generation predictive market-based platform that runs on the blockchain.According to developer Opinion Labs, it is positioned as "the world's first fully distributed epistemic truth machine,It aims to extract objective information by collecting and trading user knowledge as collective knowledge.
Specifically, we are building three products.
O.LAB Prediction Market: The core functionality allows users to create prediction markets (betting markets) on any topic and trade (buy and sell forecasts) on the results.It is the same as a prediction market such as Polymarket.
AlphaOrBeta Opinion Market: Another pillar of the O.LAB ecosystem, this is a market where users' opinions and views on a wide range of topics, including entertainment, sports, technology, and politics, are tokenized and traded.O.LAB is a marketplace where users' opinions and views on a wide range of topics, including entertainment, sports, technology, and politics, can be tokenized and traded.Specifically, users can ask themselves, "Is X true?"Is ________ good/bad?"and then express your agreement or disagreement with that view through the buying and selling of tokens.
Oracle (Optimistic Oracle / AI Oracle): The "Oracle" is incorporated as a mechanism to determine the truth and outcome of themes dealt with in forecast and opinion markets.In particular, it employs a method called Optimistic Oracle, which is positioned as a "truth verification engine" that safely determines the claims of result data on the blockchain.
Opinion Labs is the operating company that develops these products, and the name "O.LAB" is used as a brand name to refer to a group of products.
