Good morning.
This is mitsui from web3researcher.

Today I researched "Movement".

🚶‍♀️What is Movement?

Movement is the first integrated blockchain network to enhance the fastest and most secure Layer 2 on Ethereum, and aims to extend the "Move language" used by Sui and Aptos to Ethereum. The first integrated blockchain network to enhance the fastest and most secure Layer 2 on Ethereum.

Its main product is the L2 of Ethereum, called M2, but it also offers peripheral infrastructure such as M1, an L1 blockchain that functions as a decentralized sequencer, and the Movement SDK, including Fractal, which connects Move and Solidity.

We will focus on explaining M2 and touch on the surrounding infrastructure.

M2 uses a Move-based zk-rollup architecture, inheriting Block-STM parallelism from Diem and bringing its own parallelism to the modular stack as the first Modular MoveVM. (= Parallelism allows M2 to achieve tens of thousands of TPS while running on ethereum)

It is also compatible with EVM through a mechanism called "Fractal" that allows Solidity development to be integrated with MVM, while MoveVM allows development in the Move language.
