Moonshot is an IOS app that allows anyone to easily buy and sell meme coins on Solana.Users can create a wallet with just an email address and Face ID, and deposit and buy and sell meme coins via Apple Pay.
The on-ramp function is linked to MoonPay, and the wallet infrastructure is based on Turnkey.This facilitates purchases from legal tender and allows users to perform transactions with biometrics.
It was released on July 18, 2024, and the app was released simultaneously in 130 countries around the world.The app can be downloaded and used in Japan, but on-ramp features such as the use of Apple Pay are not yet available.
Because of the simplicity and ease of this user interface, it has also been called a meme version of Robinhood and has attracted a great deal of attention.

As mentioned earlier, it was released very recently, on July 18, 2024, but its popularity has been growing.

And what drew a lot of attention after its release was Murad's mention of Moonshot, who later gave a talk on memes at Token 2049 that drew worldwide attention.

And the most significant turning point was MOODENG.This recently discussed hippo meme was listed on Moonshot before MOODENG multiplied it by 100.And MOODENG's official X also frequently recommended that the community use Moonshot to purchase tokens.
Between September 24 and September 28, MOODENG's market capitalization jumped from about $100 million to about $300 million, while Moonshot's daily revenue jumped from about $3,681 to $24,000 and daily trading users increased from 396 to 3,458.
After this, Moonshot quickly gained attention as it succeeded in listing its tokens several times before they spiked.Currently, listing on Moonshot has the effect of increasing the market capitalization of the tokens, similar to a CEX listing.
The list of tokens on Monnshot is entirely selected and executed by the team, and the criteria is "only tokens with a 24-hour trading volume of US$1 million.
However, despite its growing popularity, it is still small in terms of the overall market.The most recent daily trader count is about 2,000, with daily revenues of about $20,000.
Pump[.].fun's daily revenue is $1.7 million, which is roughly 85 times Moonshot's.
Nevertheless, the effects of the listing are beginning to emerge, and there is no doubt that this is the platform where memes can be traded most easily and will be a growing presence in the future.

And we believe that the next trend that may occur is a platform like Moonshot, where individuals can easily buy and sell with their smartphones.Just as the emergence of Robinhood in the stock market has led to the spread of stock trading over the Internet, including among younger generations, token trading, which is still only popular with a few people, could explode.
This is also true for tokens like BTC and ETH, but meme coins have the potential to grow explosively, and it would not be surprising if the market size becomes dozens of times larger than it is now, as one after another, as the creation of one rapidly rising token after another attracts the participation of those who dream about it.
Other apps like Moonshot exist, the most famous being Prerich.
However, this one is not that famous because it is not yet a smartphone application and furthermore, it is not the first to discover a golden egg like MOODENG in Moonshot.
Nevertheless, apps like Moonshot that allow individuals to easily buy and sell memes are likely to increase in the future, and Moonshot, the first of these apps, is likely to grow in particular.
Personally, I am interested in the phenomenon of token prices rising when they are listed on Moonshot, which is exactly what happened with the Binance listing.If this happens, the Moonshot side will have a stronger position and will be able to list on better terms, and good information should be gathered, which will make it stronger and stronger.
In the future, meme coins may become such that they will aim for Moonshot listing instead of Binance listing.
