Today we will introduce you to the 10 projects that were selected as finalists at the recent ETHGlobal Bangkok 2024.
🌏What is ETHGlobal?
ETHGlobal is a hackathon event for developers in the Ethereum ecosystem.It is held in various cities, and this time it was held in Bangkok on November 15~17 after Devcon.
Along with numerous panel discussion events, a hackathon was held to win cash prizes offered by various protocols.
In this issue, we present 10 projects created by finalists at the most recent "ETHGlobal Bangkok 2024".
The judging panel consisted of a wide range of cryptocurrency experts, including Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin, Aave founder Stani Kulechov, and Base founder and head Jesse Pollak, and a total of 713 projects were submitted!

Rishi: technical specialist to handle smart contracts and infrastructure

A Telegram bot that enables DAOs within Telegram. by adding a bot to a Telegram group, group members can deposit tokens in the bot wallet and participate together in various DeFi strategies on different chains. a DAO is a contribution weightingDAOs can set different voting rules, either by weighting contributions or by equal voting for all members.
In A Box
DeSci and Social Fi platforms that enable everyone to participate in community science and distributed experimentation.Users are encouraged to securely share their personal health data and participate in citizen science projects tailored to their interests.
Health data is encrypted and stored on-chain using Filecoins decentralized storage under a single user wallet.A social component is also present, allowing users to share results with friends and compare personal and community data.

Telegram's multiplayer battler game.Implements an instance of the Ethereum Referral Protocol (ERP), which allows for custom on-chain referral programs; by leveraging ERP, BubbleWars gains a social component, allowing users to invite friends and expand their community forAuthentication via ENS (BNS) is also possible.

The game combines the strategic exploration of Dark Forest with Factorio's automation and resource management system.Unlike Dark Forest, which relies on random planetary data, Dark Factory allows players to design and optimize island (planetary) layouts, fostering creativity and strategic thinking.
Metaloot
A platform that allows players to own items acquired in-game or acquire new items from outside the game or from another seemingly unrelated game for use in-game.Allows gamers to store items acquired in one game on-chain as NFTs and use them in another game.
These are the ten projects listed above.
Many of the projects were on trend, such as AI Agents, ZKP/TTE, Telegram, DeSci, and many others that looked very interesting.I personally found "Industry AI" and "Cat In A Box" to be particularly interesting.
There are many solutions that combine AI agents, such as "Industry AI," but I felt that the connection aspect of the solution was built very consciously.There was a sense of the world, and it seems that in the future it will be normal for AI agents to collaborate and make transactions on their own after inputting natural language.
Cat In A Box" is a project of DeSci, which also made headlines at Devcon when images of Vitalik and CZ talking were circulated. a16z and Binance Labs both made their first investments in DeSci this year.
This is one of the reasons why the price of DeSci related tokens has been rising. "Cat In A Box" gives me an impression that it is easy to participate by incorporating social elements while decentralizing the provision of personal health information in the system.
Like "Industry AI," I feel that it has become standard in recent projects to involve users by incorporating not only the functionality behind the scenes, but also the world view of the interface and social elements.
There were many other projects that looked interesting, so I will look into them.
