【daos.fun】Hedge fund version of Pump fun where anyone can build investment DAOs / Price of "ai16z" DAO token, a tribute to a16z, soars / @daosdotfun
The AI bubble is here.
Good morning.
Mitsui from web3 researcher.
Today we researched "daos.fun".
🟢What is daos.fun?
🤖The Bubble of AI Agents
💬AIAgents are coming of age
🟢What is daos.fun?
daos.fun" is a protocol that allows anyone to build an Investment DAO.
In a hedge fund version of Pump fun, fund managers raise funds by issuing Investment DAO tokens. The fund manager uses the funds to invest in a protocol of his/her choice, and at the end of the redemption period, the DAO is dissolved and the profits are distributed to the token holders.
For example, take this fund called PARADAIGM.
The numbers in the upper left corner are the market cap and growth rate of the tokens, and the lower left corner is the tokens held by this fund. The upper right is the buy/sell screen for the tokens, and the lower right is the fund information. The fund information includes creator information, etc. The information marked "Trading ends" is the expiration date of the fund.
Now, let us rearrange the information.
Fund manager (creator) creates fund, 1 week fundraising period
If fundraising is successful, trading begins and creators purchase tokens of their choice
At the fund redemption deadline, the DAO wallet is frozen and 50% of the SOL profit is distributed to the creator and 50% to the investor at fund close.Non-SOL tokens will be distributed to investors based on their ownership percentage of DAO tokens.
In the event of a failed fundraising, the SOL will be refunded. In addition, there is no limit to the increase in market capitalization, but the decrease is limited to the market capitalization of the fundraising. You can sell your DAO tokens at any time as long as the token's market capitalization exceeds the original funding amount.
🤖AI agent bubble
This platform is relatively new, having only been released at the end of September. The reason it attracted attention is because of the AI meme coin bubble.
The price of the "ai16z" DAO token, a tribute to this a16z, soared. As you can see from the growth rate, it has increased by 45,518% since its composition, at one point reaching nearly $100 million.
The fund is managed not by a human, but by Marc AIndreessen, an AI bot modeled after the writings of a16z partner Marc Andreessen.Creator Shaw says, "The goal is not to create a parody AI of Marc Andreessen. It is to beat him at what he does best.
AI Marc determines how much to trust people's investment advice based on a 'virtual trust market.'He tracks how much profit you can make by following people's recommendations.Successful advice increases trust and unsuccessful advice decreases trust," the project's Discord FAQ states, revealing that it is an AI that learns and evolves from the advice of many people.
Then, the person responded to this AI, "Hey, I have that T-shirt.
The reaction caused the token price to soar so high that it temporarily reached $100 million, causing the daos.fun website to crash.
From this point on, the platform has become a hot topic and a platform for the creation of one AI brand after another.
💬The age of AI agents is upon us
Finally, a consideration.
As I wrote in last week's GOAT article, we are seeing a bubble in AI stocks. However, while meme coins are a bubble-like excitement, there is no doubt that the AI x crypto space is gaining momentum.
We will summarize this too in a report article on the subject of "Crypto x AI market" again at another time, but it has already been typified and many projects have already emerged.
Coinbase is particularly focused and anticipates that AI will be the future of payments and transactions. To this end, it has already released an AI-oriented wallet service and an AI-oriented blockchain service, and has successfully conducted AI-to-AI transactions.
What is important in a story like this is the time frame. If AI continues to evolve at its current rate, it is almost certain that we will be in a world where AI will be trading with other AIs and AIs will be making payments in the future. The question is whether that will be in one year or 10 years. That will change your stance on how to prepare.
Reading this area is probably a matter of research, gathering primary information, and then sense, but personally, looking at the recent excitement, I am beginning to think that it will arrive sooner than we imagine.
It won't be to the point where everyone is using it on a regular basis, but I have a feeling that by 2025, we will have AI bots that usually perform better than humans, and that copy trading will become popular, and that AI will start to be a connoisseur of memes as well.
In fact, it is written that AI Marc will make virtual trades based on advice from people and learn from their successes and failures, and a huge amount of learning will be carried out in a year because it is less emotional than humans and can learn a large amount of things with high performance.
The crypto asset industry is volatile, so prices are still largely influenced by human fundamental information, but that percentage will gradually decrease as the population grows, and AI may even learn that information in the future.
All in all, the bubble now for sure is AI stocks, which will burst at least once, but the arrival of AI x crypto may be closer in the future than imagined.
This is the research for "dao.fun"!
